چکیده
One of the mechanisms Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli resistance to ?-lactam antibiotics is production ?-lactamase enzymes. Among these are AmpC ?-lactamases, which confer a class antibiotics. However, little known about ?-lactamases K. E. clinical isolates in Qazvin, Iran. This study was designed assess ??lactamases-producing strains also identify prevalence ??lactamases genes. Antimicrobial susceptibility tests were performed on 435 using disk diffusion technique. Plasmid-mediated genes studied multiplex PCR assay. The ?-lactamase-producer by employing cefoxitin test, induction cefoxitin-EDTA boronic acid test. Our results showed that 46 (18.4%) cefoxitin-insensitive isolates, 10 (21.7%) positive for genes, among them 4 (8.69%) blaDHA 6 (13%) blaCIT Of 57 (30.4%) (17.5%) gene with (6.34%) (9.5%) respectively. no MOX, ACC, FOX, or EBC detected isolates. Considering different confirmatory phenotypic tests, test higher discriminatory power detecting ?-lactamase-producing strains. specificity sensitivity 77%, 100% pneumonia 70%, 90% than other two Also, authors demonstrated high rate certain antibiotics, such as cefuroxime, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, ampicillin, cefotaxime. In conclusion, our provided valuable information regarding plasmid-mediated content, antibiotic resistance, from sources.

متن کاملCo-Occurrence of Plasmid-Mediated AmpC β-Lactamase Activity Among Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia Coli
Introduction Extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs), including the AmpC type, are important mechanisms of resistance among Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli isolates. Objective The aim of the study was to investigate the occurrence of AmpC-type β-lactamase producers isolated from two hospitals in Tripoli, Libya. Methods All clinical isolates (76 K. pneumoniae and 75 E. coli) collec...

Background: Prevalence of co-existence of extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs), metallo-beta-lactamase (MBLs) and AmpC-β-lactamases producing isolates in these bacteria is a serious problem in treatment of infections. The aim of this study was to characterization co-existence of ESBLs, AmpC and MBLs in Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates from Khorramabad hospitals. Materials ...

Detection of plasmid-mediated AmpC β-lactamase in Escherichia coli
Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a common opportunistic pathogen for nosocomial infection. The aim of the study was to examine the phenotype, genotype and epidemiology of plasmid-mediated AmpC β-lactamases in E. coli. In total, 96 clinical isolates of repeated E. coli were collected from different hospitals between August and October 2012. Using a cefoxitin disk diffusion method to identify the ph...
